Sweet Corn Seeds
In order to plant the seeds, the potting mixture/soil should be moistened or slightly wet. Plant the seed half or an inch inside the soil. When seeds are first planted, they need an extra bit of water in order to start the germination process. Sweet corn is wind-pollinated, so it should be planted in blocks

Soil: The soil should be well-draining, but must be able to hold some moisture. Corn tends to use a lot of water.

Temperature: Make sure the soil temperature is above 60°F (16°C) for successful germination.
Fertilizer: It requires plenty of nitrogen and phosphorus throughout the growing season.
