Planting & Care
SunLight: Bananas plants prefer full sun.
Soil: The soil should be well-drained, deep, and organically amended. Slightly acidic soil (5.5 to 6.5 pH) is preferred.
Watering: They need a lot of water and plenty of moisture in the air.
Fertilizer: Banana plants should also be fertilized. Use a balanced fertilizer once a month.
Temperature: Banana plants like consistent temperatures ranging between 75 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pruning: Before the banana tree fruits, prune it so there is only one main stem. After it has been growing for 6 to 8 months, leave one sucker.
