Light: Basil grows well in warm environments that require about six hours of sun each day
Water: Water the plant at its base and not all over its leaves with a once-a-week schedule
Fertilizer: Feed your plant no more than twice a month with a balanced, general liquid fertilizer
Temperature: temperatures of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit is fine for growing basil
Potting: Make sure your pot has plenty of drainages and that you use high-quality potting soil.
Pruning: Prune or pinch off leaves from your plant at every four weeks time
