Leucophyllum plants are easy-care, compact, drought-resistant and attractive green silver leaves and trumpet-shaped purple flowers. This plant bears many names Texas sage, texas barometer bush, cenizo, purple sage, and Texas Silverleaf. This plant can be used in a wide range of landscape situations.

How To Care

Light: These shrubs require full sun and good drainage

Water: It is a water-conserving plant and only needs occasional watering.

Fertilizer:   Do not fertilize once it is established to avoid plant legginess

Temperature:  tolerate temperatures down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as thrive in our summer heat.

Potting: Plants are easy to propagate either through seed or softwood cuttings, It can be grown in a large container with drainage holes

Pruning:  no pruning is required. Prune Texas sage in early spring if you want to maintain a shape
