Sunlight: Lavender appreciates bright light. Place them near sunspot or near a window where the light is more prominent.

Soil: Lavender prefers well-drained, especially during the winters. A good quality soil containing sand or gravel is best suited.

Water: In the summer plants in pots will need frequent watering, but remember to be careful not to waterlog lavender.

Fertilizer: Lavenders do well on poor soils and need little fertilizer, we just add a sprinkling of potash around the base of the plant in the late summer and spring. Do not add high nitrogen feeds or manure this can cause the plants to grow tall and weak.

Temperature: They like summer temperatures and become dormant during winters. 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
