Gomphrena Globosa
A fun annual flowering ornamentals plant to have in the garden because the flowers add such a novel shape resemble large clusters of florets clover flowers that sport rounded purple, red, pink, blue, orange or white and lavender blossoms
Light: the plants tolerate partial shade, full sun makes for more vibrant blossoms.
Water: Add water when the topsoil is dry to the touch.
Fertilizer: Add a water-soluble fertilizer, with an N-P-K ratio such as 14-14-14 at planting.
Temperature: grow at 20-24 °C during the daytime and at 15 °C during the night
Potting: propagate by seed - Cover the seeds with a light layer of soil, as darkness aids germination and keep them moderately moist.
Pruning: Trim the gomphrena in early spring. Pinch off branch tips to encourage a bushier exterior and pinch off wilted blooms at the stem.
