Diplotaxis tenuifolia

Diplotaxis tenuifolia is Highly valued and cultivated for their distinctive taste and texture as a salad leaf. It's a member of mustard family Brassicaceae, known by the common name perennial wall-rocket. The leafy vegetable is usually a thin lance-shaped dark green leaves, and bright yellow flowers, with four petals. The flowers are edible too and can be used to add a bit of color to your salad.

How To Care

Light: Need Full sun or it can grow in semi-shade

Water: Rocket needs to be kept moist, but not waterlogged. Water twice a week to have a continuous harvest

Fertilizer: Feed once a month with an organic, water-soluble fertilizer of your choice.

Temperature: Optimal temperatures (10 to 20 C)

Potting: Planted from seedlings throughout the year, Sow seeds directly where they are to mature in the garden or in pots and thin out to about 15cm apart if needed.

Pruning: Pick the fresh leaves regularly to promote new, healthy growth and delay flower formation.  Remove the flower heads before they set seed
