Citrus Paradisi

Grapefruit or Citrus paradisi trees are a type of citrus tree known for their waxy green leaves and large citrus fruits that range from sour to semisweet. Originating in Barbados, this subtropical fruit tree belonging to the Rutaceae family of fruit trees was created as a hybrid of the sweet orange tree and pomelo tree.

Planting & Care 

Sunlight: Should be planted in an area that gets full sun at least six to eight hours a day.

Soil: Citrus paradisi trees need well-draining soil

Water: water your grapefruit tree regularly

Fertilizer: Add a light fertilizer during irrigation every 4-6 weeks. 

Temperature: The best temperature range to grow a successful Citrus paradisi tree is between 60 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit

Pruning: Do not prune the tree unless you're removing dead branches.
